Strive to be anti-racist
We are where we are because of the way our systems were built. We approach our work with empathy, race awareness, and historical context. Much of what the human services sector aims to ameliorate is rooted in systematic anti-black and anti-immigrant policy and program implementation. We acknowledge the place of privilege from where we conduct our work. We conduct ourselves with humility and seek ongoing professional development to become more anti-racist.
Communication is everything
We are direct and clear. A good working partnership must have open and regular communication. Our working contract will clearly outline responsibilities of each party. We commit to honesty and maintenance of regular check-ins with our clients.
Compassion is foundational
Humans can be messy and we account for the time and space that human error entails. We handle conflict professionally and will seek outside services as necessary to mediate any serious matter. Our contracts allow for voluntary termination by either party should we meet an impasse.
Projects deserve timeliness
We meet deadlines. We will work with you to create a project timeline that meets your needs while delivering the highest quality performance from us.
Learning is for everybody
Just because we are experts in the services we provide, we don’t know everything and we recognize that industry standards change with time. We commit to learning what we don’t know, pursuing ongoing professional development and educational opportunities where appropriate.
